My 9 open secrets

My 9 open secrets

Hi guys everyone,

open secrets
Snapchat 👻: phieephiee

I think this is a very interesting topic. I will try to be as honest as possible *winks*. Sit back, relax and enjoy.

These are things about me that you probably didn’t know. So, in no particular order they are:

1.Shopping

I love shopping; be it online, at the mall, a store, a supermarket. I just think its exciting buying new and pretty stuff. But we all know shopping is not free, you gotta have that paper cash or card to support the cause. It’s amazing how much time I spend looking for new places to shop or looking for that online store that ships to my location. Living in Ghana or even Africa as a whole does not make online shopping as fun as it should be, but I dabble. I know there are Ghanaian online shops out there, but…eh…you know what I mean. Guys if you know any online store that ships to Ghana, please let me know in the comment section.

2. Travelling

This is a more futuristic than present passion. I love travelling to exciting and beautiful places although I do not travel as much as I would want to (being in medical school and all) but I hope to travel the world someday..big dreams! I want to see whats out there. There are so many beautiful cities around the world and I hope to explore them someday. Although I think I should start with Ghana because there are quite a number of places in Ghana I’m yet to explore irrespective of the fact that I have lived here for the past 8 years (as I said, medical school and all).

3. Movies and Series

I think I can watch series for all of Africa. Pick any series, I bet you there is an 80% probability that I have watched it. And then movies too, just that recently the movies that are being produced are not interesting to me. I could take about 10 movies from a friend and watch just 2 or even 1 and a half. Whats wrong with Hollywood? As for Nollywood, Ghallywood and Bollywood…I don’t even bother.

4. Order

You are probably wondering ‘how can you be passionate about order and what does order even mean’. You can use the word ‘principles’instead. I have strong beliefs about certain things. For example, if I believe A always comes before B, which comes before C, then that’s that and they should not be mixed up. Under no circumstance should you try to do C before A. I mean, that’s just not acceptable. Most times it’s alright but sometimes it’s an issue because people have contradicting views and you cannot force your opinions down anybody’s throat (no pun intended). So, I may make adjustments to accommodate people, but at the end of the day, I still got my principles.

5. Shoes

I love love love good shoes. I can pair any bag or accessories with my outfit, but my shoes gotta be on point. Writing this makes me wanna get new shoes, oops! On a more serious note though, If you wanna get me a gift and you are not sure on what to get, your safest choice is shoes, preferably (high) heels

6. Driving

There are times I consider driving to be one of my hobbies. I don’t even know if that’s possible. Guys is it? Those of you who know me would probably know this. Someone once told me that I’m the best female driver he has seen. I know it was supposed to be a compliment but does it mean that people think women don’t drive as good as men. I know there are some slow female drivers out there; those who drive like they own the road lol but I don’t think it’s fair to generalize. In case you were wondering, I love speeding fast cars.

7. Writing

Most people don’t know this but a couple of years back, I started writing a book. Though I was so busy with school work, I found time to put down some words every week but unfortunately, I lost all the data on my laptop and could not recover my files. Since then, I never tried writing again, well till now. I wish I could pick up writing my book but .. no buts, I probably should. On the other hand, now I have a blog that I really enjoy and I’m committed to. So I’m gonna keep writing..yippee

8. The Christ-life.

I am a Christian, I believe in God and I love Jesus. These are statements I am not ashamed to make. I grew up in a Christian home and have been keeping the faith ever since. Yes, there are times it gets challenging but I’m comforted with the truth that He would never leave me nor forsake me. I may not appear religious and that’s good because Christianity is not a religion, it’s a lifestyle. Each person’s walk of faith is so personal and peculiar to him/her, so you should not judge a person by his/her appearances. “Appearances could be deceptive”.

9. Guess ???

Lastly and on a lighter note, matter of fact, I think this post would not be complete without adding it.  I love *drum roll please*……… plantain. YES plantain (but not the soft and mushy ones). NO it’s not weird. Be it fried plantain, ‘kelewele’, roasted or even boiled plantain. I could eat plantain for breakfast, lunch and dinner…I am not exaggerating guys, I actually can. Not sure how this came about but it’s the real deal..lol.

Wooooow! Twas really fun writing this guys. I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing. Now that you know this much about me, I think it’s only fair you tell me a bit about yourself. Yes YOU! 😉 Kindly leave a comment below and don’t forget to tell me at least one thing you are passionate about.

I would love to hear from you.

With love…💋
