My first time in six years | April update

Welcome back from this really long weekend. I hope you had a great time with friends and family. It’s been an awesome month so far and I am grateful for so many things. When I was leaving Ghana to return to Nigeria, I had a plan in mind (a very elaborate one at that) but of course, God showed me He knows what’s best for me. I have been living literally on and by His Grace.

This Easter was quite special to me. It was the first time in 6 years I’m spending Easter in Nigeria (I actually had to go through my passports to be sure). As usual, I spent most of my time watching movies and TV shows. The funny thing is that I don’t seem to remember how I usually spent my Easter in Ghana. Of course I went to church, but asides that I seem to be running blank, which probably means I spent most of the time in bed watching movies. This post is to catch you up on the events of this 4 day holiday and also share with you some of my current favorite TV shows.

Thursday was a long day. Considering the fact that banks and offices were going to be closed for the next 4 days, a lot had to be done in one day. I actually ran errands till about 10pm that day. Friday was a more relaxing day. Spent most of my time behind my home PC; editing my Friday post and subsequently watching Netflix. Saturday was just fantastic. I rested like never before lol. Sunday was very special. Easter Sunday Service was inspiring and uplifting. Plus I dined like a King. Monday was a bit of a drag. I was starting to get tired of the longs days at home watching TV shows. Today is Tuesday and it’s back to that working lifestyle.

work break

I know many of you wished it were still the Easter Period but here’s your reality check — you gotta go to work today.

Current WATCH list

Time to share those favorite TV shows with you. It would be quite difficult to arrange them in order of preference. So in no particular order, here they are:

  1. The fixer (scandal)
  2. Suits
  3. The catch
  4. 24 legacy
  5. Empire

Some recently watched movies that I actually enjoyed are:

  1. 50 shades darker
  2. Sleepless

What are you currently watching? Please leave your comment in the ‘leave a reply’ section below. Have an awesome and stress-free week.

Happy days

With Love,

Janet.
